Job Description

Job Title:
Heavy Machine Mechanic – Port Operations (TWIC Card Required)

Here's What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:

Diagnose and repair engines, drivetrains, hydraulic systems, and electrical/control systems on various heavy equipment
Maintain and service machinery including heavy forklifts, straddle cranes, and port-related equipment
Perform routine preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electric, and mechanical components
Assist with repairs on cable cranes and other specialized port machinery as needed

Schedule & Pay:
Salary: $23–$27/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term potential

Must have a valid TWIC Card
Proven experience servicing and repairing heavy equipment
Skilled in diagnosing engines, hydraulics, and control systems
Experience with cranes or construction equipment highly preferred
Safety-conscious, dependable, and eager to contribute long-term
