Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and driven Associate Attorney with 2+ years of business litigation experience to join our esteemed Litigation Practice Group. The ideal candidate will focus on construction litigation and dispute resolution litigation, managing complex cases and contributing to the firm's success. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact matters, collaborate with seasoned attorneys, and grow within a globally recognized firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in construction litigation, including disputes related to contracts, project delays, defects, and payment issues.
- Handle dispute resolution litigation, encompassing mediation, arbitration, and courtroom proceedings for business-related conflicts.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Participate in all stages of litigation, including discovery, depositions, hearings, trials, and appeals.
- Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys to achieve optimal client outcomes.
- Provide clear, strategic advice to clients and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
- Manage multiple cases efficiently, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Florida.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business litigation, with a strong emphasis on construction litigation and dispute resolution.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Proven ability to handle complex cases and thrive under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centric approach.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience with depositions, hearings, or trial preparation is highly desirable.
