Your Role: As an integral part of Kemco Systems under CECO, you will contribute significantly to fostering environmental stewardship through your mastery in metalwork. Dive into a challenging yet rewarding role as you innovate by shaping, assembling, and repairing crucial sheet metal structures using a diverse range of machinery, including welding and cutting tools.
- Transform your interpretative skills by reading and implementing blueprints.
- Excel in mathematical computations, utilizing tools like tape measures to achieve accuracy.
- Engage in the setup and operation of hydraulic press brakes and other pivotal equipment for shaping sheet metal.
- Hone your welding prowess in welding tight spaces while working with materials such as stainless and carbon steel.
Collaborate with a dedicated and diverse team to propel both personal and organizational growth towards collective success.
Are You a Fit?
- Own a high school diploma; further technical education in welding is advantageous.
- Bring over five years of adept experience in sheet metal fabrication.
- Embodied mechanical proficiency, coupled with precise reading and execution of assembly blueprints.
- Eagerness to operate autonomously yet thrive in a team setup.
ADA Requirements:
Very Heavy Work: Exerting more than 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or more than 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or more than 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel. The facility is not air conditioned. Incumbents must be able to weld in tight spaces, 18 inch circumference. • Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications, or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods. • Compliance with company attendance standards.
