Job DescriptionNow hiring HVAC/R Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team! Maintain existing Commercial and Residential Heating/Air Conditioning systems, Ice Machines and Refrigeration equipment. Smithco is a great company to work for!

Responsibilities:
- Preventative maintenance of A/C systems (clean coils, clear drains and change filters) at assigned Commercial & Residential locations
- Preventative maintenance of Refrigeration equipment like Reach-in or Walk-in coolers/freezers (clean coils, clear drains) at assigned Commercial locations. We will train you!
- Perform Full Tear Down Cleanings on Commercial Ice Machines. We will train you!
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedure
- Respond to emergency Service requests (as a backup to a Lead Tech) on the easiest On-Call schedule around the industry
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year field HVAC experience working at a professional company
- Refrigeration or ice machine experience is a big plus and adds to your compensation offer
- Possess personal tools necessary for the trade including gauges, meters, leak detector and hand tools
- Formal schooling from a State run Journeyman program Trade school
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Desire to expand your ability with comprehensive training
- Clean driving record and background
