Job DescriptionLHH is currently seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant for a respected law firm in Orlando, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong business or commercial litigation experience who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys in commercial/business litigation matters
- Prepare, revise, and format pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
- Manage state and federal court filings (including e-filing)
- Maintain and organize case files, exhibits, and litigation calendars
- Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
- Assist with document production and discovery management
- Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of commercial or business litigation experience
- Strong knowledge of Florida state and federal court procedures
- Proficiency with e-filing systems and legal document management
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
