Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a dynamic school setting located in Port Saint Lucie, FL. This contract position spans the complete school year, providing the chance to impact student communication development across diverse age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation of student evaluations, treatments, and outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and provide consultation to staff regarding speech and language development
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in a K-12 educational environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping abilities
