Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Florida is seeking four experienced School Psychologists for a full-time contract position starting as soon as possible through June 1, 2026. The role involves providing psychological services throughout K-12 settings, with responsibilities that may include itinerant assignments across multiple school sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and testing for students across various age groups.
- Prepare detailed reports based on assessment findings.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to support student educational planning.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to address student needs.
- Maintain compliance with state licensure and district policies.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health Psychologist license is mandatory.
- Experience in school-based psychological services, including administering assessments and counseling, is preferred.
- Strong skills in psychological evaluation and report writing.
- Ability to work with diverse K-12 student populations.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
Location:
- Positions are located in the Fort Myers area, with an option for itinerant work across multiple school locations.
- Note: This opportunity is on-site only and is not open to VOCO employees.
Schedule:
- Full-time, 35 hours per week.
- Contract duration covers the current school year through June 1, 2026.
