This role is critical in delivering high-quality patient care, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.


Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing non-medical personal care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Assisting with daily living activities like light housekeeping and meal prep.
  • Offering companionship and engaging our clients in activities they love
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
  • Provide support in critical care environments, including ICU and medical-surgical units
  • Must be able to assist clients with transfers
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols
  • Assist nursing staff with medical procedures and treatments as directed
  • Document patient information accurately in electronic health record systems
  • Participate in patient education by teaching basic health concepts and care instructions

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Someone who is experienced in the field and with Alzheimer's/Dementia and holds a CNA and/or HHA license
  • Compassion: A genuine love for spending time with seniors and making them smile and a commitment to maintaining patient dignity,
  • Skills: Ability to assist with personal care, daily living activities, companionship, and other client needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a hospital or assisted living setting is a plus
  • Knowledge of infectious disease care practices
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as critical care units
  • Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English
  • Physical ability to lift patients and perform tasks that require standing for extended periods
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care and maintaining patient dignity
  • Driver's license is a must, professional liability insurance is preferred
  • Must be able to pass a level 2 background
