Job DescriptionThe Polisher will maintain front of the house service supplies. They will stock shelves, racks, tables and service stations, polish all glasses and silverware to be used in the dining room, and fold napkins for service.
Your Responsibilities:
● Polish all glasses and silverware to be used in the dining room.
● Restock dining room with china, silverware, glassware, utensils, condiments and linen, and maintains adequate supplies in the work stations when the dining room is open.
● Fold napkins and make extra place settings.
● Work with Dishwashers to ensure service pieces are being washed thoroughly and at pace consistent with service needs.
● Occasionally hand wash specialty service pieces and ensure proper storage
● Complete all opening, mid, and closing procedures; complete daily checklist and side work assignments.
● Support the team in making sure the dining room is ready for service
● Maintain a gracious, pleasant and friendly attitude, while contributing to a team work-based work environment.
● Take pride in your appearance while adhering to the Dress & Appearance Policy.
Your Qualifications:
● Previous hospitality experience preferred
● Prior experience working in a fine dining restaurant preferred.
● Ability to read, speak and interpret documents in clear English.
● Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
● Ability to think quickly on their feet and multi-task with ease
● Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30 pounds.
● Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
● Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
● Attention to detail and quality in all that you do.
