Grand Villa of Port Charlotte is seeking a dynamic and energetic Life Enrichment Professional to join our team in one of our newest assisted living communities. This role is essential in enhancing the quality of life for our active seniors through engaging activities and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage calendars for community activities and events
- Collaborate with vendors and entertainers to provide diverse recreational opportunities
- Develop and implement recreational therapy programs tailored to residents' needs
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages resident participation
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make adjustments as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with seniors and enhancing their quality of life
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience in recreational therapy or related field is a plus
