Role Overview
The Night Pharmacist supports pharmacy operations during evening hours and is responsible for accurate prescription verification, non-sterile compounding support, and safe dispensing practices. This role is hands-on and execution focused, ideal for a pharmacist who is comfortable working independently at night while following established procedures and standards.
This position is part of the Operations department in Boca Raton, Florida and is located on site. The Night Pharmacist works within established workflows and supports continuity of operations during evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform final pharmacist verification of prescriptions prior to fulfillment and shipment
• Review non-sterile compounded preparations for accuracy, labeling, documentation, and formulation consistency
• Apply non-sterile compounding standards and internal procedures in alignment with USP <795> and USP <800> requirements
• Support pharmacy technicians during the shift by answering questions and reviewing work as needed
• Verify prescription details including dosing, calculations, and ingredient accuracy
• Maintain steady workflow during evening operations to prevent delays
• Identify and resolve routine processing or verification issues during the shift
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of controlled substances
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready pharmacy environment
• Document and communicate any outstanding issues or notes to ensure smooth shift transitions
Required Qualifications
• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
• Active Florida Pharmacist license in good standing
• Experience with non-sterile compounding
• Working knowledge of USP <795> and USP <800> standards as they relate to non-sterile operations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and confidently during evening shifts
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a compounding pharmacy environment
• Prior experience supporting prescription fulfillment or verification workflows
• Comfort working evening or night shifts
