We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal with a strong background in commercial litigation and trial preparation. This role supports attorneys through all phases of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in managing complex case files in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery documents

  • Manage case files and maintain accurate records of legal documents and correspondence

  • Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial logistics

  • Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness materials

  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings

  • Assist attorneys during trial, including in-court support

  • Maintain attorney calendars and track litigation deadlines

  • Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel

  • Support billing processes and track billable hours

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in commercial litigation

  • Demonstrated trial preparation and courtroom support experience

  • Proficiency with legal software (e.g., ProLaw, 3E Billing, e-filing systems)

  • Strong drafting, proofreading, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of work

  • Paralegal certification preferred but not required

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
