Rack Electricis currently hiring Generator Service Techs for our awesome and growing generator service division. This is an amazing opportunity!
We’re seekingsomeone with a solid mechanical background who also has strong electrical experience—specifically someone knowledgeable in ATS, load shedding, and surge protection A GREAT PLUS!

Job Description to include but not limited to:
- Perform residential and commercial Bi- annual maintenance service on a daily schedule.
- Install and service monitoring equipment.
- Troubleshoot operational issues on Generators and related equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on generators
- We are a paperless company. we operate out of a CRM software
- Be on call for emergency calls 1 week at a time
Must have/meet the following qualifications:
- Clean-cut, neat, professional, well-spoken, polite, and detail oriented
- Mechanical background does really well as a generator tech
- Driven and self-motivated
- Must have some technical aptitude
- Electrical background a PLUS
- Basic electrical and plumbing tools with testing equipment
- Clean Driver’s License (license will be run prior to interview)
- Drug Free (We are a Drug Free company)
- Generator knowledge is a HUGE PLUS (basic generator features and benefits training is provided)
- Job is physically demanding and candidate must be able to lift up to 70lbs on rare occasions, bend, stoop, squat and kneel for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work in extreme conditions to incl, heat, wind and rain.
- Candidate should be methodical in their work assignments and follow all company procedures.
- Must be willing to be Cross trained in all company divisions.
Job Type:Full-time
Pay:Commensurate with experience
- Monday – Friday 7-3:30 with Overtime available.
- On Call schedule REQUIRED on a rotating basis.
- After hours and weekends REQUIRED during storms and hurricane season.
