Job Details:

• Work 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM shifts with liver transplant call responsibilities
\n• Handle other surgical cases when no liver/transplant procedures are scheduled
\n• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 hour shifts
\n• On-call requirement: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month
\n• Must have strong liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant experience (non-negotiable)
\n• Must be proficient in MISONIX/CUSA equipment
\n• Required experience with transplant procedures including placing organs in new patients, not just harvesting
\n• 2 years of direct liver/transplant OR RN experience required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
\n• Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs
\n• Must be nicotine-free with negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
\n• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
\n• EPIC charting system experience preferred
\n• Must be willing to participate in training students and new staff at this teaching facility
\n• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
\n• 40 hours of orientation provided
\n• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
\n• Handle daily census of 55-60 patients across 18 operating rooms
\n• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
