Wright Brothers Contracting Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Plumbing Foreman to oversee and coordinate plumbing operations on assigned projects in the Tampa area. This role is responsible for supervising field crews, ensuring code compliance, maintaining schedules, and delivering high-quality plumbing installations while upholding safety and performance standards.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
The Plumbing Foreman’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of plumbing teams on assigned projects.

Ensure all plumbing work complies with industry standards, local codes, and safety regulations.

Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.

Prepare and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.

Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and other supervisors to allocate resources and resolve issues.

Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship quality, and adherence to safety protocols.

Train and mentor team members to enhance skills, productivity, and job performance.

Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.

Maintain accurate documentation of completed work, materials used, and team performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing-related issues efficiently to minimize project delays.

Assign plumbers and laborers to specific tasks and supervise activities including layout, fabrication, and assembly.

Order materials and tools necessary to complete assigned work.

Ensure compliance with project codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.

Provide scheduled look-aheads to the office using company-provided apps or software.

Complete daily logs, daily reports, or weekly look-aheads as required, documenting site conditions (e.g., 15-minute increments when necessary).

Perform and comply with all duties outlined in the Supplemental Foreman Handbook.
Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years of plumbing foreman or lead plumbing experience, preferably in commercial or multi-family construction.

Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and safety regulations.

Proven ability to lead and supervise crews effectively.

Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Comfortable using mobile apps, software, and digital reporting tools.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working with general contractors and multi-trade environments.
-
OSHA certification or safety training (preferred).
-
Experience working in the Tampa / Central Florida market.
