Job Description :
This position supports component repair and overhaul activities at our Part 145 Repair Station located in Doral, Florida. Experience repairing/overhauling hydraulic, electro-mechanical, fuel components and ability to use hand tools, including calibrated micrometers and torque wrenches, is preferred.
Qualifications:
High School graduate or GED.
Must possess basic understanding of shop math.
Must be able to write, read and understand English, have mechanical ability, and/or hydraulic overhaul experience preferred.
Basic knowledge and experience with hydraulic and electrical theory and wiring preferred.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, paint and modify hydraulic, electro-mechanical, and fuel components using state-of-the-art repair techniques and test equipment in accordance with Original Equipment Manufactures specifications.
- Reads and follows plans and manuals, customer order instructions, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines.
- Fulfills all regular and advanced installation/repair/maintenance duties, including project layout, and completes required paperwork and documentation in a timely manner.
- Functionally test all assemblies to ensure serviceability of completed units.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements.
- Develops tools and equipment in accordance with Original Equipment Manufactures specifications as required.
- Prepare documentation.
- Assist in the training and development of other junior level personnel.
- A technician may be assigned to one or more departments, depending on operational needs of the company at the time of assignment.
- All other duties as assigned or required.
