Senior R&D Chemist / Senior Formulation Chemist – Skincare & OTC Products

• Salary range: $100,000 – $110,000

What You'll Be Doing

• Formulate skincare, cosmetics, and OTC products (e.g., sunscreens, lip balms)

• Lead product development from initial concept through pilot batching and scale-up

• Write specifications, SOPs, and support regulatory documentation

• Troubleshoot batch issues and optimize formulations for cost and performance

• Mentor lab staff and stay ahead of formulation and ingredient trends

About You

• Be able to do the job as described

• Have experience with OTC formulation, including sunscreen and lip care

• Possess deep knowledge of FDA regulations and cGMP standards

• Excel in cross-functional communication with clients and internal teams

• Thrive in a fast-paced R&D setting with hands-on leadership responsibilities
