YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR GPN - CERTIFIED LPN
The typical schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
You'll coordinate with the provider or RN to implement effective treatment plans to meet patients' various healthcare needs. Compliance is a key part of this position, and you'll make sure to follow all CHP protocols, established medical principles, and healthcare guidelines in all your activities. Following directions and outlined procedures, you'll interact with patients through various channels (electronically, over the phone, and in person), identify care needs, document clinical care in the system, and support care gap closure. This nursing role helps ensure patients receive the timely, quality care they deserve!
Our ideal GPN - Certified LPN has at least 1 year of nursing work experience, but it's not required for the right person. We will accept candidates with a written acknowledgement of Graduate Practical Nurse status from the Florida Board of Nursing or Licensed Practical Nurse certification from an accredited college or technical school.

- BLS (basic life support) certification
- Ability to read, understand, and follow safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write clear routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to clearly present and explain information one-on-one and in small groups
- Adaptable problem-solving skills
- Collaborative team spirit
- Math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, ratios, etc.) with the ability to create and interpret bar graphs
- Technology proficiency with the ability to learn and use Windows-based software
