Swimming Coach is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising swimming while helping athletes develop their skills, physical conditioning, and sportsmanship.
Help with meet signups, reserving hotel and transportation for one meet. Coordinate competition schedules, team travel arrangements, and meet logistics.
Plan and conduct practices and training sessions.
Teach and demonstrate proper swimming strokes and techniques, starts, turns, and water safety procedures.
Establish team rules and promote good sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork.
Ensure the safety and well-being of participants during practices, competitions, and travel.
Assist with team budget and management.

Additional Job Information
Must like teaching swimming, prior experience coaching is not required but preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
Computer skills a plus.
SEASONAL ONLY POSITION
In order to be considered for this position, applicant must currently possess a valid athletic coaching certificate, or a valid teaching certificate issued by the Florida Department of Education.
