- Level II Trauma Center
- Primary Stroke Center
- Level III Neonatal Intensive Care

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Job Responsibilities:
- Answering high volume incoming calls professionally; booking, rescheduling or canceling patient appointments within the electronic health record (EHR/EMR) system.
- Transferring clinical or medical questions to the appropriate nursing or medical staff.
- Logging detailed notes for every patient interaction in the EHR system.
- Verifiying patient demographic information and insurance coverage.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY
Requirements and Skills:
- 1-2 years of customer service, office or call center experience (healthcare background preferred)
- Proficiency with computers and medical software.
- Strong verbal , active listening and de-escalation skills with compassion, empathy and respect, while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality rules.
- Medical terminology knowledge helpful.
