Job Summary and Qualifications


As the Director of Supply Chain Operations, you are responsible for the daily operations of all supply chain functions conducted in the hospital facility. You serve as the liaison between the Consolidated Service Center and the facility. Your functions include inventory management, vendor relationship management, and managing supply expense. You are directly responsible for supply chain operations in the OR where applicable. You will integrate the department’s services with the hospital’s primary functions, develop/implement policies and procedures that guide or support services, assess and improve department performance, and ensure orientation and continuing education of departmental staff. 
What you will do in this role:

<li>Manage the profit and loss of the facility Supply Chain operations.</li>

<li>Work in a hospital ICU specializing in trauma and neuro/stroke patients</li>
<li>Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts (19:00–07:30), with every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed</li>
<li>Nurse-to-patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1 depending on acuity</li>
<li>Floating to other units may be required</li>
<li>Requires use of Epic EMR and experience with this system</li>
<li>Responsible for providing care to critically ill trauma and stroke patients in a high-acuity environment</li>
<li>Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are considered at a different pay scale</li>

<li>Charge RN and neuro ICU experience preferred</li>
<li>Study guides and orientation materials available online prior to start</li>

<li>Certifications required: BLS, ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale, all current at time of consideration</li>
<li>Must have experience with Epic EMR</li>
<li>Must pass basic arrhythmia/EKG testing with required minimum scores</li>
<li>Proof of vaccination status required; no declinations allowed</li>

Job Description
Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years X-Ray experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. 
This travel contract opportunity is a great fit for an experienced X-Ray Tech who is comfortable working independently across inpatient and outpatient settings. The schedule offers consistent afternoon-to-evening hours with exposure to a broad patient population.
