$17.50 - $21.00Job Title: Store Manager Department: Operation FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: District Sales Manager SUMMARYThe Store Manager oversees and is responsible for the store's sales efforts in each department in the store and supervises the store's overall operation to ensure efficiency and profitability. Enforces, conveys, and upholds the organization's policies, goals, and standard to the store's sales team to meet sales goals. The Store Manager consistently communicates with the District Sales Manager and the Store Support Center to drive initiatives and business growth. Represents the company's brand in appearance, attitude, and professionalism portrayed to employees, customers, and the community. The Store Manager is knowledgeable in each product area or department in our store. The Store Manager is passionate about giving outstanding customer service and promoting the merchandise in stores. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Is responsible for driving store sales and sales goals, consistently focused on company growth.</li>
<li>Manage and control the assets of the company by managing their designated store.</li>
<li>Directs and oversees entire sales efforts in the store. Training and mentoring store associates in sales strategies and skills.</li>
<li>Constantly and consistently acquainted with all aspects of the store including sales statistics, inventory and expenses that together produce profit.</li>
<li>Consults and collaborates with District Sales Manager as needed in establishing and enforcing policies, goals, and procedures.</li>
<li>Directs staff to ensure all responsibilities and standards in each department are completed.</li>
<li>Mentor and cultivate a team of outstanding Sales Associates, Assistant Managers, and Managers in Training.</li>
<li>Carry out personnel recruiting, hiring, training, discipline, and evaluation. Manages the store's payroll and schedule to ensure the store is meeting labor goals.</li>
<li>Maintain proper security for the store. Partners with Asset Protection to prevent theft and lower shrink.</li>
<li>Communicates with District Sales Manager and keep them informed as to inventory movement. Driving inventory goals and strategies.</li>
<li>Provides information and consistently and vigorously follows through on all marketing and advertising plans and stays aware of customer trends.</li>
<li>Keeps abreast of competition and new ideas and keeps informed on community related events, to take advantage of potential opportunities.</li>
<li>Produce and give extraordinary customer service highlighted in the customer service manual, including helping customers as they enter the store, and helping multiple customers during peak periods.</li>
<li>Protect the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.</li>
</ul>
 SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Manages subordinate supervisors and non-management employees, including Sales Associates, Hub Drivers, Assistant Managers, and Managers in Training. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.</li>
<li>Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.</li>
<li>Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.</li>
</ul>
 QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in business or a related field or equivalent experience.</li>
<li>Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel.</li>
<li>Experience in managing and cultivating a sales team.</li>
<li>3-5 years of customer service experience. 3+ years of management experience.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Analytical thinker with demonstrated business acumen.</li>

Job Description
Primary Position Objective:
With limited supervision, the Senior Wage Compliance Specialist will monitor federally funded construction projects to ensure compliance with Davis Bacon and Section 3. They will review certified payrolls and related documentation to ensure the payment of prevailing wages. In addition, they will obtain and review all necessary support to confirm the project remains in compliance with Section 3. 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Coordinate and present applicable requirements, compliance material and forms at preconstruction conference meetings with borrowers, general contractors, and subcontractors.</li>
<li>Review payroll and Section 3 documentation received for timeliness, completeness, and compliance with respective requirements. </li>
<li>Audit certified payroll records in accordance with respective Federal and/or State prevailing wage requirements using independent judgement based on experience and training to determine compliance. </li>
<li>Complete reports as required based upon funding source. Prepare and distribute monthly reports to clients.</li>
<li>Prepare and distribute reports of audit findings and required corrective action to general contractors, subcontractors, and other parties, as applicable. Serve as main point of contact for guidance and resolution of discrepancies.</li>
<li>Coordinate site interview documents and project details with outside vendor.</li>
<li>Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and project contractors.</li>
<li>Provide ongoing support and training to contractors and subcontractors to ensure their understanding of the documentation necessary to meet federal standards.</li>

Requirements &amp; Qualifications:

<li>3-4 years of financial/administrative experience in a financial services environment.</li>
<li>Payroll accounting experience preferred, but not required.</li>

<li>Ability to write reports and general business correspondence. </li>
<li>Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exceptional customer service.</li>
<li>Knowledge of MS Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.</li>
</ul>

<li>Strong comfort level with technology, including ability to adapt to new systems quickly and easily. </li>
<li>Experience with Elation Systems preferred but not required. </li>
</ul>
