Role description

Required Experience:
  • Domain: Property and Casualty, Personal Lines
  • Product Expertise: Homeowners HO and Dwelling DP Products

Primary Skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in Duck Creek Policy implementations enhancements with the ability to gather analyze and document business and functional requirements
  • Deep knowledge of Personal Lines insurance specifically Homeowners products such as HO3HO6 and Dwelling products such as DP3 including coverages deductibles endorsements eligibility underwriting rules and policy lifecycle
  • Strong expertise in preparing BRD FRD user stories acceptance criteria use cases and traceability documents for Duck Creek Policy initiatives
  • Ability to work closely with business stakeholders underwriting team's product owner's developers and QA teams to translate business needs into clear functional requirements and support end-to-end delivery
  • Good functional understanding of Duck Creek Policy components such as product model pages forms workflows and configuration-oriented requirement mapping
  • Experience in gap analysis impact analysis requirement review and validation for policy product enhancements rollouts and regulatory changes

Secondary Skills:
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum delivery models including sprint planning backlog grooming reviews and collaboration across distributed teams
  • Strong exposure to UAT support defect triage production validation and requirement clarification during testing and release cycles
  • Familiarity with system integration and downstream insurance systems such as billing claims reporting and data interfaces from a business analysis perspective
  • Knowledge of tools such as JIRA Confluence Visio and Excel for requirement tracking documentation and stakeholder communication
  • Basic understanding of SQL and data analysis to support requirement validation reporting discussions and troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication stakeholder management analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to work effectively with client business and technical teams
