POSITION DETAILS
Position Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor in a manufacturing organization directs the activities of employees engaged in Receiving and Warehouse. The Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor also ensures the safety of workers in the organization by setting safety policies for the department.
Principal Activities
Manage employees' daily activities to insure production efficiencies.
Manage employees hours to insure minimal overtime
Conduct annual performance reviews
Place employees on verbal and written counseling, as needed
Train employees in fundamentals of production as well as cross train the staff in all facets of production.
Conduct interviews on potential candidates.
Inform Human Resources and Operations Manager of all employee resignations and termination.
Assign tasks and projects to Group Leads.
Insure in meeting the production schedule.
Maintain work area, equipment and supplies in a near, safe and ordering condition.
Report any problems or difficulties to the Operations Manager.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must meet attendance and punctuality requirements for position.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Relevant experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Results oriented, with sound judgment.
Excellent knowledge of supply chain management theories processes and practices.
Excellent demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and strategic skills.
Superior interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform multi-faceted projects in rapidly changing environment.
Resourceful and well organized.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
7 years experience in warehouse
2 years supervisory experience
