Description
Lexington Country Club is looking for part time servers to provide food and beverage service to members and their guests in a manner that ensures a positive experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing immediate attention to all members and their guests upon seating.
- Setting up side station and performing assigned side work.
- Taking member drink and dinner order, answering questions regarding menu and making suggestions.
- Turning orders into kitchen; telling cooks about any special cooking instructions.
- Checking back to ensure member satisfaction, replenishing water and butter as necessary.
- Removing soiled dishes.
- Suggesting and serving dessert, coffee, and after dinner drinks.
- Presenting the bill and handling member charges according to procedures.
- Keeping tables, dining room and bus station clean and tidy.
- Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager.
- Attending pre-meal meetings as requested by the Dining Room Manager.
To thrive in this role, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Minium one-year high end dining experience.
- Good oral communication skills.
- Ability to interact well with members.
- Ability to lift and carry food and dish trays.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive and professional attitude.
