The Ideal Candidate
Quvia is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager to join our team in Miramar, Florida. Our ideal candidate is someone with between 5-10 years experience, who has coached and mentored direct reports, within a SaaS business or in Public Accounting. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Manage and oversee all general ledger activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, accruals, and prepaid expenses</li>
<li>Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition for subscription-based contracts</li>
<li>Oversee accounting for the UK subsidiary, including statutory reporting, local compliance, and coordination with external UK accountants</li>

Requirements:

<li>5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a SaaS and technology environment. Public accounting experience preferred.</li>

· Input revenue, expenses, and allowance to generate required daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary.
· Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset the system for the next day’s operations.
Supportive
· Make corrections and adjustments and handle any computer issues that may arise.
· Ensure all reports and back-up vouchers are complete and filed properly.
· Ensure all necessary copies of documentation and reports of daily work are distributed to the proper department.
· Review and correct discrepancies in the Front Desk System.
· Coordinate with the front desk and restaurant\bar closing to facilitate a smooth operation of file maintenance and reset of systems for next day operations.
· Ability to communicate effectively with guests, vendors, and other associates.
· Ability to adhere to all applicable Federal, state, local, safety, and health standards.
· Ability to assist with the design and preparation of statistical reports and presentations as needed.
· Perform front desk supervisor, guest service agent, reservations agent, and telephone operator duties as needed.
· Ability to accurately reports information.
· Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures.
· Attend required Hotel meetings.

Position Overview
As a 440 FL Insurance Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our clients, helping them navigate their insurance needs with clarity and confidence. You’ll assist with both new policies and existing accounts, manage walk-ins and call-ins, and ensure clients receive unmatched service from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

What You Bring to the Table
<ul>
<li>Active 440 Customer Representative License (State of Florida) – REQUIRED</li>
<li>1+ year of experience in insurance, sales, or customer service</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and follow-through</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li>
<li>Comfortable with insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite</li>
<li>Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required</li>
</ul>
Compensation &amp; Benefits

<li>Base Salary: $35,000 – $45,000 annually (based on experience)</li>
