Job Summary
The Emergency Room Technician works under the supervision of the Nurse Director and/or Manager and is responsible for the care of patients and assists with patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse. Accountable for patient care, which incorporates clinical and clerical tasks, planning and implementation, evaluation and intervention skills. Also involves the maintenance, stocking of the rooms during shift and upkeep of the department and equipment and supplies.
Job Specific Duties

<li>Checks and assembles supplies, linens and equipment for assigned areas, to promote an efficient and safe environment of care.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li>
<li>Collaboratively works with RN and LPN to prioritize patient care needs throughout the entire shift.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li>
<li>Prepares discharge paperwork and includes school notes to patients and families. &nbsp;</li>
<li>Provides point of care testing with documentation of results in EMR.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li>
<li>Actively supports patients by transporting to areas within the hospital for procedures and admissions. &nbsp;</li>
