<li>Oversees the dining areas and food storage, ensuring that the facility remains in compliance with safety regulations and health codes.</li>
<li>Participates in recruiting, hiring, training, and of disciplining staff members.</li>
<li>Participates in scheduling and coordinating breaks for hourly associates.</li>
<li>Maintains and updates records of certifications as required by local, state, or federal laws.</li>
<li>Ensures the safety and security of hotel premises and property while acting as MOD.</li>
<li>Ensures the timely opening and closing of the outlets.</li>
<li>Enforces all company policies and standard operating procedures.</li>
<li>Makes rounds to patrons to ensure that their dining experience is satisfactory.</li>
<li>May assist in preparing the tip report for payroll.</li>
<li>May assist in operational activities such as serving guests or clearing tables, as needed.</li>
<li>Performs related duties as requested by a manager at any time.</li>
</ul>
Education and Experience:
<ul>
<li>Two to three years of prior restaurant experience in a hotel or high-end restaurant.</li>
<li>At least 6 months previous restaurant supervisory experience strongly preferred.</li>
<li>High School Diploma or GED is required, college degree in Hospitality preferred.</li>
<li>Food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience required.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of food preparation and handling regulations.</li>
<li>Must be positive, energetic and a strong leader.</li>
<li>Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.</li>
