MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education &amp; Training
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field</li>
<li>Must complete EHS assigned regulatory training for work area as described by PSM’s EHS Training Matrix</li>

Skills/Experience
<ul>
<li>15+ years of diverse and progressive accounting and or finance experience</li>
<li>5+ years of experience solving technical or organizational problems on cross-functional teams, with communication skills at an advanced level.</li>
<li>5+ years of experience managing direct reports, with successful track record of identifying and promoting the right people on the team to the right places by harnessing and developing individual talents. Proven ability to anticipate future skill and experience requirements to develop/hire people to fill these needs. </li>
<li>5+ years of experience presenting to peers, higher management, and customers. </li>
<li>Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Experience within manufacturing, technology, or energy industry preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to analyze, understand and summarize complex financial data including tax risks related to project structures. </li>
<li>Global mindset and ability to work in cross-cultural teams require.</li>
<li>Significant experience in computer applications relevant to operational management; including SAP, MS Office programs (advanced Excel).</li>

Responsibilities
· Prepare Federal and State tax returns for individuals and all entity types, including research on issues that may arise during the compliance process, planning and transactional work.
· Monthly bookkeeping services for specific clients as may develop or as opportunities arise.
· Recognizes, anticipates, and resolves tax issues; makes recommendations to small business clients regarding payroll, sales tax and other compliance matters
· Assistance in performing financial statement audit and review as necessary
· Markets firm services to existing and prospective clients.
· Work to ensure the various components of the tax process are performed including tax planning, client interaction, and performing special tax projects
· Assist and supervise staff with income tax preparation engagements and planning
· Participate with senior staff and management in tax preparation and tax review
· Supervise, manage, and mentor staff; act as a role model by creating a positive work environment
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients; serve as a trusted business advisor
· Take a protective role in business development – earn the respect of clients to attract clientele
Qualifications:

<li>Bachelor’s Degree- CPA license or candidate preferred.</li>
<li>3+ Years of current or recent experience in a public accounting firm</li>
<li>Small Business experience</li>
<li>Strong technical accounting skills with considerable knowledge of US GAAP, IRS rules and related concepts</li>
<li>Experience with preparation of financial statements, business &amp; personal tax returns</li>
<li>Experienced in Thomson Reuters programs a plus Ultra Tax and CS Practice or equivalent</li>
<li>Proficiency in MS Office 365 including Word and Excel, Quick Books</li>
<li>Analytical and research skills</li>
<li>The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, as well as strong written, verbal and presentation skills. Must have the demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative, results-based team environment.</li>
