Private Postal Systems is currently seeking an experienced Sales Associate to assist in the day-to-day operations of the store with the skills and qualifications listed below.
Shipping &amp; Receiving Assistant:
The Shipping &amp; Receiving Sales Assistant is responsible for professionally picking, packing, and providing the necessary documentation to ship materials domestically and internationally. As well as but not limited to, performing depot-to-depot transfers, applying freight costs to customer invoices, handling POS, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
General Responsibilities:

<li>Smile. Greet customers, enquire the nature of their business, and assist in the completion of their request.</li>
<li>Always make sure client leaves satisfied.</li>
<li>Direct and educate customers into best product or option for their need, having in mind to always increase store sales.</li>
<li>Answer telephone and relay calls and messages</li>
<li>Receive and process packages for courier shipping, including lifting and weighting packages on scale, accessing Manifesting software, generating labels, and retrieving from customer's vehicle when requested. UPS/ DHL/ FEDEX/ USPS</li>
<li>Receive, sort and place mail in mailbox modules accurately.</li>
<li>Packs and ships customer’s items in accordance with courier guidelines and clients request</li>
<li>Write documents for traces and shipping claims.</li>
<li>Opens and reacts to electronic mail for the store and follows-up, when required, to ensure proper action is taken.</li>
<li>Operate copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, and all other office machines in a safe, efficient, and productive manner. When needed help customers operate office machines.</li>
<li>Record all sales transactions on POS and accurately process cash, check, and credit card transactions. Print reports as requested.</li>
<li>Close out of POS to include: reconciliation of cash, checks, credit cards, and all other transactions accurately and in accordance with Company policy and procedure.</li>
<li>Operate cash registers &nbsp;and all other software packages.</li>
<li>Assist in merchandising the center, including: stocking shelves with product, ensuring a clean and orderly appearance of product, informing appropriate personnel of inventory levels for re-ordering supplies, being informed of product specifics (i.e. warranties, durability claims, pricing, etc.)</li>
<li>Cleans and maintains the store and the supplies necessary to run the store on a daily basis.</li>
<li>Collection of mail from US Post Office Center.</li>
<li>Performs any other duties related to the position of sales and service Center Associate.</li>
</ul>

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Associate degree (preferred but not required).</li>
<li>1+ years of shipping and receiving experience.</li>
<li>Knowledge and proper use of commercial invoices for overseas shipments.</li>
<li>Strong proficiency with MS Office, Word, Excel, and online shipping software such as UPS, FEDEX, and DHL.</li>
<li>Knowledge of proper packaging methods and ability to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements.</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills a must.</li>
<li>Good interpersonal skills and experience dealing with vendors, coworkers, and customers.</li>
<li>Works well independently and with moderate supervision.</li>
<li>Punctual, meticulous, and reliable</li>

<li>Opens, closes, and provides member access to safe deposit boxes and completes necessary documentation.</li>
<li>Has the knowledge and ability to discuss features and benefits of all credit unions products and services in detail. Maintains awareness of all current promotions or campaigns.</li>
<li>Maximizes every member contact as an opportunity to identify what Credit Union products and services would be beneficial to them and makes appropriate referrals.</li>
<li>Serves as “lobby leader” and is responsible for assessing walk-in member’s needs and directing them to the appropriate information source to ensure maximum lobby efficiency and minimize member waiting time.</li>
<li>Serves as a school branch liaison at the Credit Union’s high school branches as necessary.</li>
<li>Periodically participates in volunteer external networking and promotional events with local schools, colleges, and other community business partners.</li>

<li>Assists members with opening Share Certificates and IRAs and processes account maintenance requests as needed.</li>

<li>Obtains license to offer credit life and disability insurance on all lending products. Understands other lending ancillary products such as GAP insurance and Vehicle Service Agreements in order to discuss benefits with members.</li>
<li>Regularly follows up with members through the process of onboarding new accounts or obtaining necessary information for loan closings. Assists with outbound calling as needed.</li>
<li>Assists with training and mentoring of new Member Advisors to ensure all aspects of the skills checklist are mastered.</li>
<li>Assists members with various advanced account maintenance. This includes but is not limited to account reconciliation, address changes, name change, add joint and/or beneficiary, share ID and account number changes, fraud disputes, letters, etc.</li>
<li>Provides Notary, Medallion and Signature Guarantee stamp services.</li>
<li>Processes approved Power of Attorney and Trust Account related transactions.</li>
<li>Required to have the ability to travel throughout the branch network to provide staffing assistance at all branch locations when necessary.</li>
