<li>Prepares and verifies that all menu items are prepared according to our company quality standards 100% of the time.</li>
<li>Communicates with the expediter/server when orders are ready for delivery within 1 minute of plating a dish.</li>
<li>Follows the receiving and storage processes as defined by management.</li>
<li>Performs sidework correctly as specified by management.</li>
<li>Follows all end-of-shift checkout procedures with 100% accuracy as specified in the End of Shift/Checkout Procedures.</li>
<li>Maintains a good team environment by assisting other team members with their station duties and sidework when there is a need and/or when available.</li>

Education

<li>Completion of a cardiac sonographer or echocardiography certificate program</li>

Experience / Qualifications

<li>Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).</li>
<li>One year of clinical experience in the field of Echocardiography preferred.</li>
<li>BLS Health Care Provider from American Heart Association.</li>

Position Summary
The Echocardiographer will perform diagnostic ultrasound evaluations of the heart using "M” Mode and 2 D imaging as well as pulse wave, continuous wave and color flow doppler. Will be able to identify the anatomy of the heart using ultrasound techniques.&nbsp; Under the immediate direction of the Lead Echo Tech , and within established hospital and department policies and procedures, operates diagnostic ultrasound equipment. Duties include but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Scans patients in all aspects of cardiac scanning including M-Mode, 2-D, color, Doppler, exercise testing and TEE.</li>
<li>The Echocardiographer will prep for cardiac stress tests, Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE), contrast studies, and bubble studies.</li>
<li>Inform interpreting physician if an abnormal finding and/or a hemodynamically significant change is present from previous examination.</li>
<li>Enters patient demographics, verifies order to undertake exam, performs echo study based on patients medical history.</li>
<li>Processes CDs as requested.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Trains others in the use of and uses of the CPACS System.</li>
<li>Assists in scheduling patients.</li>
<li>Interviews patients in order to obtain information pertinent to exam.</li>
<li>The Echocardiographer will be able to maintain all paperwork for the Echo Department.&nbsp;</li>
<li>The Echocardiographer should have or develop a good working knowledge of all the other procedures in the Cardiology Department for example EKG's, Holter hookups and scanning.</li>
<li>Ability to interpret findings for preliminary reporting.</li>
<li>Maintains echo equipment in good working condition and assures echo labs are clean; reports malfunctions of equipment to supervisor as needed.</li>
<li>Participates in quality improvent initiatives.</li>
<li>Must be able and willing to wear lead protection when needed.</li>
<li>Assumes call responsibilities as needed.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>
