We are seeking a seasoned Medical Assistant or EMT for a full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30 position at our Boynton Beach office. Our practice provides comprehensive general and subspecialty ENT medical and surgical care within the convenience of one medical group. Description:
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Medical Assistant or EMT who is comfortable with in-office procedures, medical terminology, multitask oriented, motivated, able to handle a high volume of incoming patients, must be a self-starter and willing to learn all aspects of the ENT, Allergy and Audiology field.
Responsibilities:

<li>Answering patient calls</li>
<li>Taking vitals</li>
<li>Obtaining authorizations</li>
<li>Scheduling diagnostic tests and surgery</li>
<li>Preparing exam rooms</li>
<li>Assisting the physician in exam rooms for procedures as needed (i.e.: wax removal, biopsies, surgical procedures, etc.) obtaining proper consent and ensuring proper scope of practice is followed.</li>
<li>Scribe</li>
<li>Cleaning and sterilizing instruments in accordance with CDC and ENTAAF guidelines</li>
<li>Provide briefing of each patient prior to physician entering the exam room</li>

Requirements:

<li>Minimum one-year HANDS ON Medical Assistant experience</li>
<li>Current with certification or willing to participate and pass our in-house 1-year commitment training course and national test.</li>
<li>Comfortable assisting with surgical procedures.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of medical terminology.</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear speaking voice.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills.</li>

<li>Schedule consultations for new clients and appointments for existing clients.</li>
<li>Manage the firm’s calendar, ensuring appointments are appropriately scheduled and coordinated with attorneys and team members.</li>
<li>Track and report client calls, consultations, and new client sign-ups for marketing and operational purposes.</li>
</ul>
Administrative &amp; Client Services Support
<ul>
<li>Prepare and send representation agreements to new clients.</li>
<li>Process initial and installment payments from clients in person or via telephone.</li>
<li>Handle case closures and filing, ensuring all necessary documentation is properly stored and archived.</li>
<li>Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing shipments.</li>
</ul>
Marketing &amp; Community Engagement
<ul>
<li>Participate in occasional firm marketing events.</li>
<li>Assist with tracking consultation conversion rates and other client engagement metrics.</li>
</ul>
What We’re Looking For
<ul>
<li>Bilingual (English &amp; Spanish) – Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently and grammatically in both languages.</li>
<li>Strong Communication Skills – Professional and articulate phone, email, and in-person communication.</li>
<li>Highly Organized &amp; Detail-Oriented – Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently without sacrificing quality.</li>
<li>Self-Motivated &amp; Independent – Can work with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards.</li>
<li>Tech-Savvy – Experience using case management software, Microsoft Office, and online platforms is a plus.</li>
<li>Customer Service Experience – Experience in a client-facing role involving in-person and telephonic client communications</li>
<li>Law Firm Experience is not required</li>
