Job Description
Summary/Objective
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and providing pharmaceutical care in an independent community pharmacy setting, ensuring optimal medication therapy and delivering personalized patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a background in community pharmacy with a willingness to learn, a commitment to patient well-being, and excellent communication skills.
Experience and Qualifications 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree</li>
<li>Completion of a pharmacy residency (PGY-1) and/or fellowship is preferred but not required</li>
<li>2+ years community pharmacy related experience</li>
<li>Knowledge of HRT, functional medicine, cellular medicine preferred but not required</li>
<li>Non-Sterile or Sterile Compounding Experience preferred but not required</li>
<li>Independent pharmacy experience preferred but not required</li>
<li>Licensed active and in good standing with the Florida State Board of Pharmacy</li>
</ul>
Job Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Assist with all phases of pharmacy services. Work with patients, providers, and clinics in a timely and professional manner</li>
<li>Coordinate functions with other departments (Data Entry, Fulfillment, Compounding, Shipping, Billing)</li>
<li>Hold team members accountable including technicians to ensure metrics are met and all products are delivered to patients in an accurate and timely manner</li>
<li>Provide counseling to patients regarding their medications to support appropriate and effective medication therapies</li>
<li>Review medication orders and evaluate for appropriateness and completeness</li>
<li>Educate Providers on new protocol development helping them understand and integrate advanced medical concepts into practice</li>
<li>Promote the safe and effective use of medications and supplements through formulary management and literature evaluation</li>
<li>Perform all job duties with a friendly, positive, and team-oriented approach</li>
<li>Comply with all company policies, procedures, rules and standards</li>
</ul>

Job Type: PRN/ PER DIEM, In-Person
Schedule: 8-to-10-hour shifts 3 days a week, Monday to Friday; with rotating Saturdays as needed 
Pay range: $58/hour
