A Day in the Life
Your day may include:
<ul>
<li>Client Communication – Guiding clients through the probate process and reviewing financial documentation with empathy and professionalism</li>
<li>Document Preparation – Drafting, organizing, and managing legal documents for attorney review</li>
<li>Asset Management – Assisting with the collection, valuation, and liquidation of estate assets</li>
<li>Creditors’ Claims – Reviewing and managing claims filed against the estate</li>
<li>Tax Filings – Assisting in the preparation of estate tax returns and related filings</li>
</ul>
Position Details
<ul>
<li>Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch from 12:00 - 1:00 PM)</li>
<li>Location: On-site only (Punta Gorda office)</li>
<li>Overtime: Occasional overtime may be required</li>
</ul>

</ul>
Required Skills &amp; Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Exceptional client service and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication abilities</li>
<li>Technologically savvy, with the ability to quickly learn new software</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Word)</li>
<li>2+ years of experience in probate law or estate planning (as a paralegal or legal assistant) is necessary</li>
<li>Knowledge of fiduciary accounting is a plus</li>
<li>Experience as a Probate Paralegal is preferred, but not required</li>
<li>Florida Registered Paralegal designation is a plus, but not required</li>
<li>Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree is helpful, though not essential</li>
