Job Description
The Superintendent is the company's representative with the responsibility and authority for daily coordination and direction of the project so that it is safe, within budget, on schedule, meets the company's quality standards, and meets the customer's satisfaction. To accomplish this, the Superintendent and the Project Manager work together as a complementary team. The Superintendent concentrates most of his or her time on the daily and short-range direction of the project.
Job Requirements

<li>Must have a minimum of 4 years of project superintendent or higher experience in residential single family home construction.</li>

Essential Functions:

<li>Ensures that all safety programs, policies, and procedures are being adhered to.</li>
<li>Able to Pass a Background Check/ Drug Screening/ Motor Vehicle Record Check</li>
<li>Valid Driver's License.</li>
<li>Must be willing and able to travel 90 - 100% of the time.</li>
<li>Studies specifications and drawings to plan procedures for construction on basis of start and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.</li>
<li>Is responsible for the residential construction project from start to finish.</li>
<li>Works with the Project Manager to determine and recommend hiring/separation of subcontractors.</li>
<li>Responsible for the daily management of subcontractors.</li>
<li>Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.</li>
<li>Inspects work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications, quality control and the adherence to construction schedules.</li>
<li>Prepares daily and weekly reports on progress, materials used, and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports.</li>
<li>All other duties as assigned to enhance the Mission, Vision and Values of Hydra Engineering &amp; Construction.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>Certified Personal Trainer: Accredited by NCCA, DEAC, or NBFE.</li>
<li>CPR/AED Certification: Ensure clients' safety with up-to-date CPR/AED training.</li>
<li>Education and experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent and 1-3 years of personal training experience.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills: Effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and technically.</li>
<li>Knowledgeable in nutrition: Possess a basic understanding of nutrition and healthy living practices.</li>
<li>Fitness expertise: Familiarity with a variety of exercise equipment and personal training methods.</li>
<li>Physical ability: Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs. and performing athletic calisthenics duties.</li>
<li>Requirements for this position include the possession of personal basic training equipment to effectively assist clients in achieving their goals. It is important to note that clients may not always have access to the necessary equipment.</li>
