Yoga Substitute Instructor

In this role you will:
The primary responsibility of the Orthopaedic Technician/Athletic Trainer is to measure, fit and dispense braces and splints as well as the placement of casts as directed by the physician. The Orthopaedic Technician/ Athletic Trainer is required to research and comprehend the technical aspects of all types of bracing and casting in order to act as a resource to the medical team. They are also responsible for making sure all paperwork is completed and distributed to the proper team members to ensure timely billing. The Orthopaedic Technician/Athletic Trainer will be responsible for maintaining their assigned work areas in a clean and well stocked condition as well as inventory control, order entry and restocking in their designated area. When available, the Orthopaedic Technician/Athletic Trainer should assist the Medical Assistant and other support staff with placing patients in rooms or any other duties deemed appropriate by their supervisor in order to make the clinic flow more smoothly providing patients with excellent customer service. 
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Provide excellent customer service.</li>
<li>Applies and educates patients on durable medical equipment (DME)/bracing to protect or prevent injuries as ordered by the physician. This includes off the shelf and custom functional knee braces. </li>
<li>Applies and educates patients on bandages, casts, and splints to protect or prevent injuries as ordered by the physician. </li>
<li>Answers patient calls regarding questions or concerns with casts, splints, or DME.</li>
<li>Properly documents/dictates in our Athena (EMR) and Empower (Inventory) systems on all cast and dme clinic patients and DME items dispensed.</li>
<li>Maintains the cast room in a clean and sanitary manner by ensuring all patient treatment surfaces, exam tables, foot stands, etc., are wiped down with antimicrobial solution after each patient.</li>
<li>Ensures casting and DME supplies are adequately ordered and stocked. Report any overstock, inadequate stock or deadstock items to DME Inventory Coordinator and DME Supervisor.</li>
<li>Responsible for receiving DME and supply orders, ensuring accuracy of packing slip information and attaching the packing slip to the purchase order.</li>
<li>Promotes high levels of teamwork and morale within the department.</li>

Torch Fitness by Valet Living is looking for fitness professionals to SUB at a luxury apartment community in and around the Pembroke (zip 33028), FL., area. This individual will be a part of a quickly expanding team focused on growth and delivering a consistent high-quality service to members within the community.
Seeking individuals comfortable interacting and teaching a variety of group fitness classes, to the residents of said community along with a passion for helping others meet their fitness goals.
Looking for a candidate to...
<ul>
<li>Substitute teach only, with 24-48hrs notice, weeknight evenings 6-8pm</li>
<li>1 to 5 offers per month</li>
<li>$40-$45/per class</li>
<li>Travel up to 10 miles from home</li>
<li>45 minute classes with 2-6 students</li>
</ul>
Travel to and from the community is required in addition to checking and attendance tracking using our software system.
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Liability insurance (required) </li>
<li>Experience in designing and implementing fitness programs and classes</li>
<li>Current CPR and AED certification, college degree, or fitness certification (preferred)</li>
</ul>
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Clock-in/clock-out and sign-off training sessions using our software</li>
<li>Continually monitor and assist members to ensure proper form is used when performing exercises during classes</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and professional appearance</li>
<li>Lead and motivate clients safely throughout classes</li>
<li>Practice what you preach. Live a lifestyle similar to the way you want clients to live theirs</li>
<li>Modify specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels and/or physical ailments</li>
<li>Be a fitness leader in the community</li>
<li>Build your book and brand yourself for success</li>
