Overview

Roots and Wings Inc. is seeking a part-time Program Assistant to support Project&nbsp;UpLift, our free after-school literacy program serving students at 20 Title I elementary schools throughout Palm Beach County.
 
Project&nbsp;UpLift&nbsp;provides small-group after-school reading instruction designed to strengthen children’s literacy skills and build confidence. The Program Assistant will help ensure program quality by visiting classrooms,&nbsp;observing&nbsp;instruction, and evaluating tutors and curriculum implementation.
 
Position Details&nbsp;
• Pay: $25 per hour plus mileage reimbursement&nbsp;
• Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM&nbsp;
• Total hours: 16 hours per week
 
Key Responsibilities&nbsp;
• Travel to Project&nbsp;UpLift&nbsp;classrooms&nbsp;located&nbsp;throughout Palm Beach County, with schools ranging from Boca Raton to Jupiter, Florida&nbsp;
•&nbsp;Observe&nbsp;and evaluate tutors and curriculum implementation&nbsp;
• Provide feedback to support high-quality literacy instruction&nbsp;
