We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager at our Tahhassee, FL office.

What you will do: 
<ul>
<li>Reading of documents and contracts.</li>
<li>Writing Subcontracts.</li>
<li>Negotiating and awarding subcontracts.</li>
<li>Reviewing/preparing subcontractors scope of work.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain schedules using Microsoft Project.</li>
<li>Attend meetings and prepare minutes.</li>
<li>Review/prepare change orders.</li>
<li>Develop/track submittals, RFIs and cost reports.</li>
<li>Maintain owner relations.</li>
</ul>

 
What you will need to be successful: 
<ul>
<li>Minimum of two (2) years experience managing multiple retail commercial construction projects valued at $5 million and up.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills.</li>
<li>Must have the ability to direct complex projects from concept to fully operational status.</li>
<li>Computer Skills Required Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).</li>
<li>Ability to create material take-offs.</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints.</li>
<li>Should be highly organized, highly motivated and a detail directed problem solver.</li>
<li>College degree preferred, but not required. </li>
<li>Bi-lingual is a plus.</li>

The ideal candidate will be expected to immediately step in to assist and provide support for all design aspects of assigned jobs.
