The Next Steps Coordinator works under the leadership and vision of the Equipping Pastor to help people take their Next Step from Neighbor to Multiplier. This role assists in executing the connection, membership, and discipleship pathways and provides people with the support, information, and encouragement they need for their spiritual journey.
 
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of First Naples.</li>
<li>Assists the Executive Pastor to work toward excellence in all areas of the ministry.</li>

<li>Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, and meditation.</li>

<li>Assist with Discover First events as assigned and follow-up with attendees to help with completion of Membership Pathway or Next Steps.</li>

Baptism
<ul>
<li>Coordinate with leadership to engage individuals who express interest in baptism, membership, or faith decisions.</li>
<li>Guide individuals through the baptism process: filling out of Baptism Request Form, Baptism conversation to confirm salvation and answer any questions or concerns.</li>
<li>Work with administrative assistant to schedule and organize baptism logistics.</li>
<li>Help with coordination + execution of Beach Baptism and other baptism events.</li>
<li>Refer children, students, college, and young professionals interested in baptism to</li>
<li>their respective ministry leaders to guide through the baptism process.</li>

Discipleship Pathway
<ul>
<li>Connect with NEW and Returning guests who have yet to attend Discover First (DF) and encourage attendance to the next available class.</li>
<li>Follow-up with DF attendees who marked interest in Membership to help with completion of Membership Pathway.</li>
<li>Review and process Membership Applications to ensure testimonies align with church expectations.</li>
<li>Schedule and conduct membership interviews as needed.</li>
<li>Work with the Equipping + Connecting Pastor to integrate new members into the discipleship pathway.</li>
<li>Assist with alignment of the Discipleship Pathway across all church ministries.</li>
<li>Assist with connecting new members into areas of service and gospel community.</li>

On-going Engagement
<ul>
<li>Monitor and manage guest status using the Step Status Report.</li>
<li>Utilize information from the Step Status Report to regularly invite guests and members to participate in the Next Step on the Discipleship Pathway.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of ministry experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
The individual must have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work with a diverse group of people, communicate clearly and effectively on the telephone, e-mail, and in person, and demonstrate tact and diplomacy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a heart for helping people take their Next Step in their spiritual journey.
COMPUTER AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
The individual must have demonstrated skill in the use of PC systems to complete tasks, including word processing and spreadsheets, and the ability to use the internet for information retrieval. Proficiency in database management and guest tracking systems.

<li>Adhere to specific requirements of an assignment based upon the case manager's instructions</li>
<li>Review all case materials prior to conducting investigative activity</li>
<li>Complete video surveillance on identified individuals for the allotted amount of time and utilizes established investigative techniques to secure covert video footage</li>
<li>Conduct investigations such as securing recorded statements, scene inspections, activity checks and securing documents as assigned</li>
<li>Complete written notes on each case assignment in a timely manner</li>
<li>Submit all videotaped results, photographs, and digital recordings via e-mail by the next business day</li>
<li>Meet established deadlines set by the client</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with the assigning case manager with regularity regarding the progress of assignments</li>
<li>Ensure confidentiality of all information obtained</li>

Requirements:

<li> Possess a valid state issued driver's license</li>
<li> Possess a current private investigator license (if applicable)</li>
<li> Must be dependable and able to meet deadlines</li>
<li> Must be a self-starter capable of working with limited supervision</li>
<li> Possess investigative tools (Laptop, Video Cameras, Digital Recorder, etc.)</li>
<li> Possess strong writing and verbal communication skills</li>
<li> Experience conducting surveillance as a field investigator</li>
<li> Experience completing SIU claim investigations</li>
<li> Possess a reliable vehicle</li>
