The Opportunity
As our Lead Compounding Pharmacist you will ensure the safe and effective dispensing of prescriptions, oversee the compounding of treatments in compliance with USP 795, 797, and 800 standards, and manage both sterile and non-sterile compounding operations, ensuring compliance, quality, and efficiency in all processes.

What you'll be doing:

<li>Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding processes, including the preparation, dispensing, and labeling of compounded medications.</li>
<li>Ensure weekly plans for items to be compounded and assign tasks to technicians as appropriate.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and thorough documentation for all compounding activities, including batch sheets, logging, and compliance checks.</li>
<li>Conduct product and batch verification to ensure quality control and patient safety.</li>
<li>Lead sterile compounding operations in compliance with USP 797.</li>
<li>Ensure proper use of cleanroom and adherence to sanitation protocols, including daily logs, calibration, and hazardous waste disposal.</li>
<li>Conduct and document quality assurance checks to maintain safety, efficacy, and sterility of all compounded medications.</li>
<li>Develop and implement SOPs for sterile compounding; assist with updates as needed.</li>

Essential Functions

<li>Work closely with the Corporate Controller and CFO to build a strong working relationship, support cross-training, and foster career development</li>
<li>Supervise and manage daily billing, credit card processing, Square activity, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions</li>
<li>Oversee the daily revenue report</li>
<li>Oversee daily AP activity</li>
<li>Assist with monthly bank reconciliations</li>
<li>Assist with daily detailed aged receivables analysis</li>
<li>Assist with weekly A/P processing</li>
<li>Assist with monthly Balance Sheet schedules and reconciliations</li>
<li>Assist the Controller in preparing room statistics and cover reports in Excel</li>
<li>Oversee bi-weekly payroll processing using ADP</li>
<li>Maintain payroll records, schedules, and time attendance in the E-Time system; verify wage and hour compliance; report unusual variances; prepare monthly payroll accrual entries</li>
<li>Assist with the preparation of forecasts and budgets</li>
<li>Assist with monthly budget vs. actual financial analysis</li>
<li>Work with Senior Accountant and Cashier to maintain cash safes and house banks; assist with cashier bank audits</li>
<li>Review petty cash transactions and post to the General Ledger</li>
<li>Prepare and submit monthly sales, occupational, and communications tax</li>
