Overview: 
The MCC Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operational oversight and coordination of aircraft maintenance activities during active operations, ensuring aircraft are maintained in accordance with Company policies, FAA regulations, CFRs, OEM maintenance programs, and safety standards.
Supporting real-time maintenance decision-making, aircraft status monitoring, and interdepartmental coordination. The MCC Supervisor assists in supervising MCC personnel, managing daily workflows, and escalating operational or compliance concerns as appropriate.
 The MCC Supervisor plays a critical hands-on role in maintaining continuous airworthiness, minimizing maintenance-related disruptions, and supporting safe, reliable operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Oversight

<li>Monitor aircraft status and coordinate maintenance activities during daily operations.</li>

<li>Monitor and maintain maintenance tracking systems (e.g., TRAX / FMIS) for accuracy and timeliness.</li>
<li>Review completed maintenance documentation and support timely correction of discrepancies.</li>
<li>Support One-Time On-Call Maintenance events and ensure required documentation is completed.</li>
<li>Assist in monitoring Maintenance Reliability Reports generated by MCC personnel.</li>
</ul>
Supervision &amp; Team Support
<ul>
<li>Provide day-to-day guidance to assigned MCC personnel.</li>
<li>Assist with shift coordination, workload distribution, and operational coverage.</li>
<li>Support training, onboarding, and recurrent training activities for MCC staff.</li>
<li>Reinforce company policies, procedures, and safety practices within the MCC team.</li>
<li>Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to safe work practices.</li>

Compliance &amp; Continuous Improvement
<ul>
<li>Assist in departmental self-audits and corrective action tracking.</li>
<li>Support evaluations of maintenance control procedures and recommend improvements to the MCC Manager.</li>
<li>Participate in Reliability or operational review meetings as directed.</li>
<li>Support Management of Change (MOC) processes when procedural or operational changes are required.</li>

Reporting &amp; Communication

<li>Assist in preparing daily maintenance summaries, shift turnover notes, and operational reports.</li>
<li>Maintain clear and professional communication across Technical Operations departments.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned by the MCC Manager or Director of Maintenance.</li>

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: 
<ul>
<li>Minimum 3–5 years of airline maintenance experience (Line Maintenance, Heavy Maintenance, or Maintenance Control)</li>
<li>Minimum 1–2 years of Maintenance Control experience</li>
<li>Prior lead, supervisory, or acting supervisory experience preferred</li>
<li>Working knowledge of airline maintenance operations</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Airbus A320 family aircraft preferred</li>
<li>Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and escalate issues appropriately</li>
<li>FAA Airframe &amp; Powerplant (A&amp;P) certification preferred (or required, per company standard)</li>

OFFICE HOURS AND SCHEDULE
This is a full-time, on-site position operating on a 4-on / 4-off, 12-hour rotating shift schedule, which may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility is required to support irregular operations, AOG events, and maintenance escalations. Occasional travel may be required.

We're looking for full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Davie, FL area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. 
About the Position of Assistant Manager
As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers are responsible for enforcing established policies, procedures and standards, scheduling mechanics/technicians work, managing outside orders, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations, and the safety of team members.
About the Position of Service Manager
The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under-car repair services. In addition, to ensure complete customer satisfaction by delivering timely completion of high-quality vehicle repair and maintenance, Service Managers must direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians and stage vehicle repair/maintenance work. While driving the sales initiatives of Mavis, Service Managers must communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide information regarding requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, ensure customers are satisfied with their in-store experience and strive to meet customer expectations.

About the Position of Automotive Mechanic
As Mavis's leaders in undercar repairs, our Automotive Mechanics are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles. Mavis's Automotive Mechanics perform a wide variety of undercar repairs, including brakes, struts and shocks. Automotive Mechanics are also responsible for completing state-mandated inspections, changing oil and filters, checking fluids, replacing worn parts, and dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.

As an active position, Automotive mechanics are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance and automotive repair. Mechanics must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
