<li>Able to maintain appropriate and professional boundaries with families and providers</li>
<li>Completes accurate and timely completion of written assessments of families to assist with evaluation and the quality improvement of program</li>
<li>Identifies and coordinates with formal/informal supports, community based resources, medical and hospital staff</li>
<li>Educates and reviews child development and parenting practices with caregivers to promote an increase in healthy parenting behaviors and attachment</li>
<li>Completes administrative documentation requirements as outlined in agency policy</li>
<li>Performs other special assignments, outreach, or miscellaneous duties as requested</li>
<li>Performs on-call duties as assigned</li>

Special Skills/Licenses/Training/Certifications Necessary:
<ul>
<li>Credentialed as a Certified Birth Doula</li>
<li>Experience working with children and families preferred</li>
<li>Familiarity with social services compliance and training protocols/requirements.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain highly confidential data</li>
<li>Excellent planning and organizational skills</li>
<li>Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to work with minimal supervision and multi-task to meet important deadlines.</li>
<li>Bilingual Spanish skills Required</li>
</ul>
 
Education/Training/Experience
Home visiting experience preferred.
Use of general office equipment (computer, keyboards, telephones, copy and telefax machines). May require minimal filing. Driving/operation of a vehicle.
