The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for assessing patient needs and ensuring optimal ventilatory support.
Duties
<ul>
<li>Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine respiratory needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.</li>
<li>Provide care in both clinic and hospital settings, including Level I Trauma Centers and Intensive Care Units (ICU).</li>
<li>Monitor patients' responses to treatments and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.</li>
<li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care and improve overall health outcomes.</li>
<li>Educate patients and their families on respiratory health management, medication administration, and basic life support techniques.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments administered, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.</li>

Experience
<ul>
<li>Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred, with a focus on Pediatrics and acute care environments.</li>
<li>Proficiency in ventilatory management techniques and familiarity with advanced respiratory equipment is essential.</li>
<li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are a plus.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team are essential for success in this role.</li>
