Key Responsibilities:

<li>Supervising permit technicians and administration in completing permit applications and moving the permit application process forward</li>

<li>Writing technical reports, letters, project summaries, and emails</li>

Qualifications:

<li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant Engineering discipline</li>

The family medicine physician and faculty position requires a board certified physician who will serve as a core faculty member of Healthcare Network's newly launched family medicine residency program as well as maintain a patient panel. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in teaching and precepting residents, experience in graduate medical education, and skills in research or quality improvement focused on ambulatory care. The core faculty will also be provided academic titles with our Sponsoring Institution, Florida State University. POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Aquatics Coordinator/Director and in accordance with the policies of the YMCA of Southwest Florida, the lifeguard will be responsible for the ensuring the safety of all participants in or around the YMCA pool.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
<ul>
<li>Knows/reviews all emergency procedures and responds to emergency situations immediately in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. Completes related reports as required.</li>
<li>Maintains constant surveillance of the pool area.</li>
<li>Maintains effective, positive relationships with the members, participants and other staff.</li>
<li>Displays professional appearance at all times and dresses according to requirements (approved swimsuit, jacket, and shirt).</li>
<li>Knows, understands, and consistently applies safety rules, policies and guidelines for the pool and aquatic area. Ensure all participants wear appropriate swim attire and footwear</li>
<li>Make sure that first time swimmers are swim tested and wear appropriate flotation devices as necessary If you feel that there is a medical condition that requires further investigation or physician’s approval, refer it to the Aquatics Director.</li>
<li>Works to maintain a high level of cleanliness of deck, structures, equipment, etc.</li>
<li>Maintains accurate records as required by the YMCA and/or the state Health Department code.</li>
<li>Finds replacement guard when unable to work and completes appropriate paperwork.</li>
<li>Performs equipment checks and ensures appropriate equipment is available as needed. Directs all pool maintenance concerns to Aquatics Director immediately.</li>
<li>Checks the pool for hazardous conditions when arriving.</li>
<li>Performs chemical testing at appropriate times of the day, as required, and takes appropriate action.</li>
<li>Attends all staff meetings and training as required.</li>
<li>Utilize time clock and monitor timesheet. Bring any corrections to supervisor within a timely manner.</li>
<li>Responsible for upholding all staff safety requirements including cleaning protocols throughout the day, as required by my department.</li>
<li>Performs additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul>
<li>Must be 16 years of age or older</li>
<li>Successfully complete State of Florida Criminal History Background Check requirements as well as meet the Association’s policies on background screening</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Adhere to drug/alcohol/smoke free workplace policy</li>
<li>Sound decision making skills</li>
<li>Ability to maintain certification-level of physical and mental readiness.</li>
<li>Must demonstrate lifeguard skills in accordance with YMCA, Red Cross, or other nationally recognized lifeguarding program standards.</li>

CERTIFICATIONS AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
<ul>
<li>CPR for the Rescue Professional/ First Aid/AED Certifications required</li>
<li>Current YMCA, Red Cross, or other nationally recognized lifeguarding certification and corresponding requirements for CPR/AED and First Aid.</li>
<li>Completion of the YMCA’s Blood Borne Pathogens Training annually</li>
<li>Completion of the YMCA’s Child Sexual Abuse Prevention training annually</li>
<li>Staff Safety Requirements/Cleaning Protocols</li>
<li>Additional training classes as recommended by Supervisor</li>

Area Manager is a safety sensitive position that manages a specific geographic area and oversee all employees at the branch to maintain the residential and commercial pools of clients for cleanliness, chemical levels and mechanical issues.
Job Duties

<li>Accomplishes departmental goals by accepting ownership of department objectives driven by overall organizational business needs</li>
<li>Safely operate a company motor vehicle and maintain a clear and valid drivers license for the state in which reside to ride along with Service Managers and technicians as well as assist with service when needed</li>
<li>Review management reports and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing program improvement</li>
<li>Determine staff requirements, and make hiring decisions and promotions on potential Pool Service Technicians and Supervisors</li>
<li>Resolves escalated customer service matters, as necessary, through diplomacy and professionalism both face to face and digitally</li>
<li>Train Technicians on Pool Tech, Mobile Tech and other technology</li>
<li>Plan and schedule team meetings to review procedures, successes, and areas to improve</li>
<li>Manage the startup process which may include meeting with potential new customers to assess their pool and decide whether to put them on service. Quoting of new equipment might be part of this new customer assessment process.</li>
<li>Meet with existing customers to resolve issues related to service or equipment problems</li>
</ul>

Requirements
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent, required</li>
<li>Prior pool service experience not required but a plus</li>
<li>Must have a current and valid driver’s license issued by a valid state agency</li>
<li>Must not have a conviction of a felony or 1st class misdemeanor involving crimes against a person or child, crimes against property, theft or fraud, or drug crimes related to trafficking or manufacture</li>
<li>Bilingual (Spanish/English), a plus</li>
