ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 
<ul>
<li>Submit HIPPA requests to providers via fax, email, mail, or designated portals. </li>
<li>Safeguard patient records and ensure that everyone complies with HIPAA standards.</li>
<li>Retrieve medical records and billing from designated portals.</li>
<li>File information and documents to the client’s file.</li>
<li>Review medical records/bills and ensure there are no discrepancies.</li>
<li>Review and file invoices. </li>
<li>Handle incoming calls and other communication interactions with clients and providers.</li>
<li>Follow up with providers and notate the file.</li>
<li>Prepare Demand packets.</li>
<li>Request additional medical records as needed.</li>
<li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
<ul>
<li>Full-time, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, M-F.</li>
<li>High school/GED diploma required. </li>
<li>Strong customer service skills.</li>
<li>Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).</li>
<li>Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate with clients and co-workers effectively and efficiently.</li>
<li>Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.</li>
