Job Summary Our Litigation Attorneys litigate high value cases. They are responsible for all aspects of a case in state and federal court. This includes pre-trial prep, court appearances, motions, depositions, mediations, negotiations, and trial.
Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Meet with clients and file lawsuits </li>
<li>Propound and respond to written discovery</li>
<li>Schedule and attend fact witness depositions</li>
<li>Retain all appropriate experts and attend all expert depositions</li>
<li>Schedule and attend all hearings</li>
<li>Prepare for and attend mediations </li>
<li>Prepare cases for trial and try cases to verdict</li>
<li>Prepare and file appropriate post-trial motions</li>
<li>Attend file audits, litigation attorney meetings, and trial clinics</li>
</ul>
Qualifications and Skills
<ul>
<li>A license in good standing to practice law in Florida</li>
<li>Experience as a PI Litigator </li>
<li>A proven track record of winning, including jury trials with a minimum of 2&nbsp;jury trials as first chair</li>
<li>The ability to handle a large and active caseload from filing through verdict</li>
<li>Success providing direction and guidance to a team of staff</li>
<li>Impeccable verbal and written communication skills </li>
<li>Excellent negotiation skills</li>
<li>Analytical and research skills</li>
<li>A strong courtroom presence and eagerness to try cases</li>
</ul>
