Job Summary
The Business Assistant III (BA III or AOL) serves as the trusted partner to the Operations Leader, ensuring the dental practice runs smoothly, efficiently, and with heart. You’ll manage key administrative functions—including scheduling, collections, expenses, and supply management—while supporting a positive, engaged workplace culture. NM Residential is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Alarm Technician to oversee fire alarm systems across our portfolio of nine residential properties in Florida.
 This role involves programming and servicing fire alarm panels, managing inspections and documentation, and ensuring full compliance with NFPA 72 and Florida fire safety codes.
Key Responsibilities
• Program, test, and maintain fire alarm systems and control panels (e.g., Notifier by Honeywell) • Design or upgrade alarm system layouts based on code requirements and property needs • Manage inspection schedules, documentation, and compliance tracking • Conduct system troubleshooting and repairs • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, and technical documents • Collaborate with property managers, vendors, and fire marshals (AHJs) • Lead system-related projects and ensure work meets NEC and NFPA standards • Maintain accurate service records and reports for all properties
Qualifications
• Education: High school diploma or GED required • Certifications: NICET Level III or IV in Fire Alarm Systems preferred; FASA/BASA certification required in Florida • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in fire alarm systems installation, programming, and maintenance • Other Requirements:

Schedule
Full-time schedule with travel required between multiple Florida properties.

Fitters employed at Veritas Steel's Palatka location are responsible for performing all fitting operations, primarily including grinding operations; along with repairs and miscellaneous tasks assigned. They must be able to meet high production demands promptly and complete high-quality work with expertise. Fitters must also adhere to company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Principle Duties &amp; Responsibilities:

<li>By using proper safety, building some of the most iconic bridge projects in America</li>
<li>Work alongside and learn from some of the most skilled steel fitters in the country</li>
<li>Drill, install high-strength bolts, and grind steel components</li>
<li>Produce fillet and groove welds using the SMAW, SAW, and FCAW processes</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organized work area</li>
<li>Participate in continual improvement activities</li>
<li>Read and interpret blueprints</li>
</ul>
Knowledge, Skills, &amp; Abilities:
<ul>
<li>High School diploma or GED</li>
<li>Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English </li>
<li>Need to be able to read metric tapes</li>
<li>Flexibility is necessary to work with others in a variety of circumstances and operate equipment using a variety of standardized methods</li>
<li>Must be able to work with a wide variety of individuals in the workplace </li>
<li>Employee must be able to adapt to changing work priorities, communicate with diverse groups, meet deadlines and schedules, work as part of a team, and work with constant interruptions during the workday</li>

Physical Requirements:

<li>Necessary to stand, walk, stoop, and kneel up to 99% of the shift</li>
<li>Must have a good range of motion when reaching forward, shoulder to overhead, and bending</li>
<li>Agile fingers and thumbs on both hands</li>
</ul>
Working Conditions:
<ul>
<li>Work is performed indoors in a large warehouse or outside in all weather conditions</li>
<li>There is regular exposure to dirt, dust, paint fumes, noise, moving equipment, heavy steel &amp; other possible hazardous conditions</li>
<li>Safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel-toed boots are required; a respirator is required for specific operations</li>
