POSITION SUMMARY
The position of Plant Manager for Pero Family Farms Food Company, LLC is located in Delray Beach, FL at our fully integrated facility. This is an all-encompassing position that is important to the continued success of the company. This position exhibits strong communication and leadership. Overseeing all aspects of the operations while working closely with Pero Family Farms Corporate Supply, Operations, Distribution, and Sales Teams.
 
 
JOB OVERVIEW
<ul>
<li>Oversee daily/weekly schedules and shifts.</li>
<li>Will be responsible for monitoring and controlling all costs associated with the Delray Beach, FL regional facility, including: the facility, equipment, production, supplies, and transportation.</li>
<li>Accountable for the general management of the Delray Beach, FL facility: Production, Quality Assurance, Inventory Control, Sanitation, Maintenance, Purchasing, and Supervision of employees.</li>
<li>Will work closely with the Food Safety Manager to ensure compliance with internal procedures and external third-party audits performed on a regular basis and to ensure all areas follow OSHA Guidelines and Primus Lab requirements.</li>
<li>Will ensure all Famous (Warehouse Management System) procedures are followed and documented.</li>
<li>Participate as a member of the company's product recall team.</li>
<li>Provide leadership and direction for facility personnel, such as: Motivation, Evaluation, Guidance, Employee Relations Issues, and Attendance.</li>

HEALTH, SAFETY, AND QUALITY:
<ul>
<li>Comply, maintain, and enforce all company policies, procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).</li>
<li>Ensure safety is the cornerstone of the operational facility, characterized by high operator awareness and involvement, and results in zero lost time or accidents.</li>
<li>Ensure that good housekeeping and organization are in place in the operational facility.</li>
<li>Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.</li>
<li>Communicate with Legal Counsel and the safety department to ensure all processes remain compliant with OSHA and other governmental regulations.</li>
<li>Initiate corrective actions to audit deficiencies.</li>
</ul>
 
 
MANUFACTURING:
<ul>
<li>Ensure order fulfillment, product traceability, and product quality measures are being met daily.</li>
<li>Will be responsible for the training of personnel on the proper use of equipment.</li>
<li>Participate in operational problem resolution.</li>
<li>Prepare an annual budget and schedule expenditures.</li>
<li>Ensure preventive/predictive maintenance systems is routinely used to plan/schedule equipment and facility maintenance.</li>
<li>Track vendor pricing and service levels.</li>
<li>Develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures; follow SOPs for all manufacturing operations (receiving product, equipment utilization, production, inventory management, or shipping).</li>
<li>Meet or exceed labor budget KPI’s such as labor cost, per pound, bags per minute, etc.</li>
<li>Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment.</li>
<li>Serve as the primary point of contact when there are customer issues related to equipment quality, customer service, or accidents on-site.</li>
<li>Communicate customer issues with the operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints.</li>
<li>Minimize shrinkage of product and maximize yield</li>
</ul>
 
 
WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT:
<ul>
<li>Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline direct reports.</li>
<li>Communicate job expectations; communicate effectively at staff meetings, conduct employee reviews, etc.</li>
<li>Manage staff levels, wages, hours, contract labor to revenues.</li>

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

QUALIFICATIONS

<li>Proven experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar leadership role.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management.</li>

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an Associate Operations Manager who is a positive change agent and can drive high customer satisfaction while leading a branch team, including engineering, project execution and service departments, along with a back-office team to support a business that is experiencing exciting growth. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (and doing well!)
<ul>
<li>Ensure all associates embrace the safety culture and comply with all safety initiatives. </li>
<li>Lead the engineering and project management for the assigned Division. </li>
<li>Supervise, train, and develop all branch associates including designers, project managers, technicians, project coordinators, supervisors, dispatchers, and administrative staff. </li>
<li>Ensure the scheduling, execution, billing and completion of install, service, warranty, and emergency jobs. </li>
<li>Develop a budget and meet revenue and gross margin targets. </li>
<li>Communicate with customers, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to execute plans, programs and processes designed to meet or exceed goals and maximize market potential. </li>
<li>Deliver projects within the original budgeted cost. </li>
<li>Execute monthly project cost and Work in Progress (WIP) analysis.</li>
<li>Report monthly financial performance in an effective manner to management and takes corrective action as needed. </li>
<li>Responsible for efficient asset management, such as inventory and company service vehicles. </li>
<li>Build a high-performance culture to include performance reviews and development initiatives. </li>
<li>Engage in manpower planning and allocation. </li>
<li>Ensure customer satisfaction and cash collections. </li>
<li>Collaborate with the sales team to support the growth and profitability of the branch. </li>

This role supports the Trading team by accurately entering and managing trade transactions, coordinating information across Operations, Contracts, Finance, and Legal, and assisting with key commercial documents. You will help review contracts, support customer service needs, conduct basic market research, follow up on payments, and ensure deals are aligned and properly reflected in the ERP system—contributing to smooth execution and reliable reporting across the trade lifecycle.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
<ul>
<li>Act as a key liaison between the Trading team and internal departments including Operations, Contracts, Finance, and Legal. </li>
<li>Accurately capture trade transactions (both purchases and sales) in the ERP system, ensuring alignment with negotiated commercial terms.</li>
<li>Create and manage purchase and sales orders, maintaining consistency with contract terms and company policies. </li>
<li>Assist Traders in preparing commercial documents such as client offers, freight quote requests, lot sheets, and budgets.</li>
<li>Manage the end-to-end deal entry process in the ERP, ensuring correct matching of purchases, sales, freight, and budget allocations. </li>
<li>Collaborate with Traders and the Contracts Desk to draft and review customer sales and supply agreements. </li>
<li>Partner with the Legal department to support risk management by reviewing trade contracts, identifying discrepancies, and mitigating potential exposures. </li>
<li>Provide timely and accurate trade information to the Operations team. </li>
<li>Coordinate with international Operations teams on matters such as inventory management, quality specifications, cash flow planning, shipment scheduling, vessel nominations, and contract alignment.</li>
<li>Conduct market research on clients, commodities, supply sources, and industry trends to support trading strategies. </li>
<li>Work with the Finance department and Traders to manage customer collections and monitor payment statuses. </li>
<li>Support the financial and operational reconciliation of quarterly trade results, ensuring ERP data reflects actual trade performance.</li>
<li>Assist Traders with customer service and post-sale support to maintain strong client relationships</li>
</ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, or related field, or equivalent work experience required. </li>
<li>Knowledge of trade and/or logistics preferred. </li>
<li>Resourceful, organized, and strong attention to detail. </li>
<li>Able to multi-task and work independently. </li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills. </li>
<li>Spanish speaking is a plus. </li>
<li>Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.</li>
