We’re hiring for a Quality Aerostructures Inspector position in Stuart, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity in which you will be on first shift or second shift hours. This opportunity is a 6-month to 1 year contract. If you have a passion for mechanical products and a keen eye for quality, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Conduct visual, physical, and dimensional inspections of parts, assemblies, and materials at various stages (in-process, final, and first article) to ensure conformance to specifications and drawings.</li>
<li>Use a variety of precision inspection tools, including micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, huck and height gauges and feeler gauges.</li>
<li>Demonstrate strong visual acuity with the ability to detect defects in complex products and assess workmanship quality per customer specifications.</li>
<li>Classify defect types and verify rework completed during inspection.</li>
<li>Verify documentation packages meet industry and commodity-specific standards.</li>
<li>Ensure proper protection and preservation of inspected products prior to further processing or shipment.</li>
<li>Perform 5S activities.</li>
<li>Assist with customer requests.</li>
</ul>

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>2+ years of hands-on experience with inspecting aircraft parts including commodities such as hi-loks, fasteners, clad skin, bolts, rivets.</li>
<li>Strong ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and industry/commodity standards.</li>
<li>Proficient in GD&amp;T and validating dimensions (tolerances ≥.001.</li>
<li>Experience with certificates of conformance and inspection documentation.</li>
<li>Ability to adapt to new technology and software.</li>
<li>Weekends are required (every other week)</li>
<li>Excellent visual acuity to detect defects in complex products.</li>
<li>Must be willing to undergo a background check.</li>
<li>Must be ITAR compliant.</li>
<li>Ability to read and write in English and communicate clearly verbally.</li>
<li>Certification in inspection techniques and/or GD&amp;T a plus</li>
