Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing setting that may include dust and debris and can be loud at times. As an Inventory Specialist you will be responsible for providing a service to the manufacturing operations and will monitor and maintain inventory levels. Process and track purchase orders and changes. Perform cycle counts and records results. Compile inventory information such as consumption rate, characteristics, value, and stock on hand to determine stock supply and need for replenishment. In this role you will input data, generate audit reports, coordinate physical movement of parts and materials, update receiving related systems, monitor material handling activities to ensure quality of service, and internal customer delivery expectations consistent with company policy and performance standards and will report to the shift supervisor. Be able to operate forklift, read and understand written directions. And be able to provide report data to the management team. Must follow all applicable safety procedures to avoid injuries including but not limited to request for help from co-workers.
